Hizb ut Tahrir / America: Eid al-Adha 1447 Message

Allahu Akbar, Allahu Akbar, Allahu Akbar.

La illaha illa Allah.

Allahu Akbar wa lillahil hamd.

Every Eid Al Adha we revive the rituals of Ibrahim (AS).

We go around the Ka’bah as he did.

We throw the stones where he did.

And Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta’ala named the believers after him until the end of time, the Millah of Ibrahim.

“Then we revealed to you ‘O Prophet’, saying: follow the faith of Ibrahim, the upright, who was not one of the polytheists” (TMQ 16:123).

But Prophet Ibrahim (AS) did not leave behind only the rituals of Hajj and sacrifice.

Rather, Allah placed Prophethood after him among his descendants.

From the lineage of his son Ishaq (AS) came the prophets of Bani Israel.

And from the lineage of his son Ismael (AS) came the final Prophet Muhammad ﷺ.

These Prophets (AS) were leaders for the believers, who governed their affairs according to the laws revealed by Allah.

Just as Allah Addressed Prophet Dawud (AS) saying:

“Oh Dawud! We have surely made you an authority in the land, so judge between the people with truth” (TMQ 38:26).

He also addressed the final messenger Muhammad ﷺ saying:

“And judge between them ‘O Prophet!’ By what Allah has revealed, and do not follow their desires” (TMQ 5:49).

So the Prophet ﷺ established along with the believers an Islamic state in Al Madinah.

A state that carried the light of guidance to all people.

But the mission did not end with the passing of the messenger of Allah ﷺ.

The responsibility was transferred to his Ummah, until Allah inherits the earth and all upon it.

The Ummah is the heir of the Prophets in establishing the deen, taking care of people’s affairs, and carrying the message of guidance to the world.

And within Islamic history are proofs that the Ummah rose in honor to the extent with which it applied Allah’s laws properly.

And humanity benefited from its justice and guidance.

But today, humanity lives in darkness, because the Ummah abandoned this responsibility, and its enemies succeeded in destroying the Khilafah.

Has not more than 100 years of injustice, darkness, and the absence of Islamic authority been enough, O Muslims!?

So resolve firmly, O believers, that your loyalty belongs only to Allah, His Messenger ﷺ, and the believers.

Salvation has never belonged to those who seek protection from other than them.

For the beloved Prophet ﷺ gave us glad tidings after the era of oppressive rule:

“Then there will be a Khilafah upon the method of Prophethood.”

And the Promise of Allah never fails.

“Allah has promised those of you who believe and do good that He will certainly make them successors in the land, as He did with those before them. And will surely establish for them their faith which He has chosen for them. And will indeed change their fear into security, ‘provided that’ they worship Me, associating nothing with Me. But whoever disbelieves after this ‘promise’, it is they who will be the rebellious” (TMQ 24:55).

May Allah accept your worships.

May every year find you closer to Allah.

Eid Mubarak to you all.

And may Allah allow us to witness another Eid where the banner of Islam is raised once again, and the Ummah has regained its honor, dignity, and authority.

Allahu Akbar, Allahu Akbar, Allahu Akbar.

La illaha illa Allah.

Allahu Akbar wa lillahil hamd.
