For almost three weeks, Masjid Al-Aqsa has been closed by the Zionist entity. The third holiest sanctuary is deprived of the blessed Muslims who pray in it, seeking the reward from Allah. The Zinoist entity has violated every sanctity of this Ummah and has even deprived us from Eid Salah in Masjid Al-Aqsa under the pretext of war. This is a very dangerous escalation of its plans towards the masjid with the aim of seizing it and Judaizing it.
While masajid around the world are filled with worshippers glorifying Allah, seeking Laylatul Qadr, observing I’tikaf, echoing Takbirat and eager to pray Eid salah, Masjid Al-Aqsa remains empty, silent in sorrow and occupied by the disgraced illegitimate Zionist entity.
[وَمَنْ أَظْلَمُ مِمَّن مَّنَعَ مَسَاجِدَ اللَّهِ أَن يُذْكَرَ فِيهَا اسْمُهُ وَسَعَىٰ فِي خَرَابِهَا أُولَٰئِكَ مَا كَانَ لَهُمْ أَن يَدْخُلُوهَا إِلَّا خَائِفِينَ لَهُمْ فِي الدُّنْيَا خِزْيٌ وَلَهُمْ فِي الْآخِرَةِ عَذَابٌ عَظِيمٌ]
“Who does more wrong than those who prevent Allah’s name from being mentioned in His places of worship and strive to destroy them? Such people have no right to enter these places except with fear. For them is disgrace in this world, and they will suffer a tremendous punishment in the Hereafter” [Al-Baqarah: 114]
The Zionist entity’s insatiable bloodlust continues with complete impunity against Masjid Al-Aqsa, Gaza, Lebanon and now Iran. This is the natural outcome of an international order that protects occupation, punishes resistance to oppression, and denies the Muslims the right to shape their own destiny. The Zionist entity knows the American empire will continue to support it and the cowardly treacherous Muslim rulers will protect it. These rulers are the real IDF with their empty condemnations. Even Christian holy sites have been desecrated and closed by the Zionist entity.
Have we accepted this further occupation of Masjid Al-Aqsa? How long will we remain silent? What are the armies of the Muslim world waiting for? Are we to see the day when it gets demolished by the Zionist entity!
Masjid al-Aqsa is not just a symbolic cause or emotional issue. It is the first Qiblah of the Muslims, it is the land of Isra’ and Mi’raj, it is the land in which Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) led all the Prophets in Salah. It is the land that was liberated by Umar ibn al-Khattab (ra), it is the land that was liberated by Salahuddin al-Ayyubi from the Crusaders, and it is the land that was defended by Khalifah Abdul Hameed II from the Zionists in 1901. Its sanctity is tied to the Aqeedah (creed) of this Ummah, and its occupation reflects the humiliation imposed upon the Muslims globally through the absence of Islam as a governing authority.
The Ummah yearns for another battle of Hattin. It yearns for liberation and justice for the sake of Allah (ﷻ) and His Deen. If the Iranian regime is able to engage with the American empire and the Zionist entity for its nationalist goals and survival, then truly we have full capability to liberate Masjid Al-Alqsa, control the Strait of Hormuz, Bab al-Mandab Strait, the Suez Canal, and the Bosphorus. We have the ability cut off oil, gas, and trade routes. We have the ability to sacrifice our material desires for our Deen beyond the materialism of the West.
To achieve this requires the political will of a state built on Islam. It requires the removal of these tinpot dictators and servants of the West that desecrate our lands and oppress our Ummah. It requires the sincere among the armies of the Muslim world to remove these rulers, give Nusrah to Hizb ut-Tahrir, and re-establish the Khilafah. Furthermore, the Khilafah will protect the sanctities of all holy sites and bring honor back to the Blessed Land, just as Salahuddin al-Ayyubi did.
On this blessed Eid, we remind the Ummah of its strength and capability to uproot the colonial systems imposed upon it and the obligation to liberate Masjid Al-Aqsa. Indeed what a sight it will be to pray Salatul Eid in the liberated holy land. The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) gave us glad tidings of it regarding what will come after this oppressive rule when he (ﷺ) said: “Then there will be Khilafah upon the method of Prophethood, then he remained silent.”
